As Christians, we are called upon to love one another as God loves us. Pastoral care involves the nurturing of a community which has a heart of caring for all. In times of crisis and times of celebration, the St. Paul's community is committed to providing timely pastoral care to parishioners and their families. Clergy pastoral care includes home, hospital, or retirement home visits; Holy Communion upon request; house blessings; and helping parishioners to connect with parish or wider community resources. Many parishioners are also involved in pastoral care lay ministries which coordinate with clergy activities. These include Friends in Deed, the Prayer Shawl Ministry, Eucharistic Visitors, and Hospital Visitors to name a few.
For pastoral needs, please contact a member of the clergy, the Pastoral Emergency phone number 434-REV-1 911 (434-738-1911), or the church office at 434-295-2156.
