Prayer Stewards

The Prayer Stewards are a group of parishioners that have a committed prayer life especially on behalf of the church.  The Prayer Stewards keep the mission of St. Paul's, the congregation, stewardship, the clergy, the vestry, University ministry, youth and outreach as a part of their regular prayer life.  The group meets in the library on the first and third Sunday of the month.  During gatherings the Prayers Stewards use the practice of Lectio Divina, the Anglican Cycle of Prayer, the Book of Common Prayer, and prayers written or offered by individual Stewards.  Prayers and meditations are offered for the overall health of the parish and for the individuals on the St. Paul’s weekly prayer list.  Prayer Stewards are also encouraged to write Collects and Prayers of the People to be used on Sunday mornings.
